Our 2008-2009 PTA Board is extremely excited about this year
at Dale R. Fair Babson Park Elementary School! We have kicked off our fall
season with our most profitable fundraiser ever! Thank you to all our
parents, families, and friends who bought items from this fundraiser to
support our students. Many of you purchased a lot of gift wrap . . . and we
truly appreciate it. We are successful because of you!
The next event on our schedule is two-fold starting with our
Family Picnic Day on Friday, October 24. We are always so pleased with the
number of parents who come and have lunch with their kids on this day. The
support you show your kids is so important to them - they love seeing you
there and so do we!
Fall Carnival is only a few weeks away. This year it will be
on Saturday, October 25, from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. The costume parade/contest
will begin promptly at 1:00 pm so don't be late. The Fall Carnival is
probably the biggest event that our students look forward to attending. It
is a fun-filled day packed with games, food, and friends. Please clear your
schedule to come participate with your kids. Remember to buy your tickets
ahead of time when they go on sale AND to please support your child's
homeroom by signing up for 1 hour to serve in your carnival booth. If you
have not received information concerning this yet, you will soon. It's an
easy job that passes by quickly and your homeroom mom will greatly
appreciate your help.
