Hillcrest first graders flip over pancakes

LAKE WALES – Students in Daisy Lopez’s first grade class at Hillcrest Elementary are flipping for pancakes after reading the book “Pancakes, Pancakes.” Students learned how wheat becomes flour, and also learned about measurements used in recipes, before enjoying some pancakes and topping provided by parents.
