2008- 2009 Arts for Life! Scholarship Program.  The arts for Life! program recognizes 25 graduating high school seniors from across Florida for outstanding achievement in the arts.  Each recipient receives a $1,000 cash scholarship toward their pursuit of the arts in higher education.  To be considered for an Arts for Life! Scholarship See Mrs. Costine in Guidance.
 

Applications are now being accepted for the title of Miss Florida International 2009, an official preliminary to the Miss International pageant that will be held at the North Shore Performing Arts Center in Chicago, Illinois.  The dates are July 20th -July 25, 2009.  For more information, see Mrs. Costine in Guidance.
 

2008-2009 East Polk District College Fair will be held at Ridge Community High School on Tuesday, October 21, fro 6-9pm.  Representatives from various colleges will be there to speak with interested students and parents about applying to each college and the features each school offers. 
 

Students who have earned lots of community service hours, need to stop in Guidance for an application to apply for the Bright House Volunteer Youth Contest.  They can win a free laptop computer.
