LWHS Football announces free physicals, practice times

LAKE WALES – Free physicals will be offered Monday (Aug. 2) for athletes participating in the Lake Wales High School Football program.

Physicals will begin at 6 p.m. Student-athletes should report to the LWHS auditorium to fill out paperwork.  If a parent is able to attend, all forms can be signed Monday. Otherwise, paperwork must be completed at home and returned before practice begins.

Equipment may be picked up in the varsity locker room for all varsity and junior varsity football players. Equipment will be distributed 10 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, Aug. 4, through Friday, Aug. 6.

Football practice starts Monday, Aug. 9, at 8 a.m. for all athletes on both varsity and junior varsity football teams.  Varsity football players will have two-a-days with the first practice starting at 8 a.m. and the second practice beginning at noon. Gatorade and pizza will be supplied between practices for the varsity players.
